The Logo
The logo was created to symbolise ISA’s journey over 60 years — a balance of heritage and forward‑looking energy. The shapes and colours were chosen to feel celebratory yet grounded.
Merchandise
Branded merchandise was designed to serve as keepsakes for the community, reflecting the anniversary’s tone through thoughtful graphic application and colour consistency.
Design Templates
Versatile templates were developed for both digital and print use, including banners, posters, and social assets. Each template was designed to work with the flowing graphic elements while keeping clarity and accessibility in mind.
Printed Materials
Printed materials such as posters, invitations, and banners were designed to feel unified and vibrant. Layouts emphasise legibility while bringing the celebratory visual direction to life in physical contexts.
A Visual Celebration of ISA’s Legacy & Future
Brief
For ISA’s 60th anniversary, I led the design of the celebratory campaign for the International School of Amsterdam, crafting visuals to honour the school’s legacy while expressing its energy and creativity today. The goal was to create a visual language that felt warm, modern, and celebratory across both digital and physical materials.
Concept
This project builds a bridge between ISA’s rich history and its present‑day community spirit. I selected a colour palette that references the school’s heritage while introducing fresh, contemporary tones, symbolising the transition from past to future. Soft, flowing curves were incorporated across materials to evoke warmth, creativity, and playful energy — qualities that reflect the school’s character.
Process
The design began with exploring shapes, colour, and graphic gestures that felt expressive and joyful yet respectful of ISA’s legacy. I tested multiple colour palettes that could balance historical references with a contemporary look. Through sketching and digital mock‑ups, I refined soft, flowing curves that became a core visual motif throughout the campaign. Prototypes were evaluated across printed and digital touchpoints to make sure the visuals felt cohesive and engaging at different scales.
The Impact
Across all materials, the aim was to create a visual experience that felt both celebratory and reflective — honouring a milestone while energising the ISA community. The campaign visually united the school’s past and present, fostering pride and engagement from students, staff, families, and alumni alike.
